The Huinnyeoul Culture Village has many ties with “Busan, the City of Film.” Located near the observatory, the village appeared in the background of movies,
The Jeolyoung Marina Trail is about 3 km long and it takes about 2 hours to complete a round trip. It has been selected as top 5 costal trails nationwide. The best part of the trail is the dramatically different scenery that appears along the twisty trail. It is full of things to see and do such as the stone tower, totem pole, suspension bridge, Rose Tunnel, Wave Square, and more. The 75 Square and the Sky Observatory are the best places to rest when you get tired from touring the trail.
The 75 Square located in the southern coast of Jeolryung is one of the eight attractions of Yeongdo. It is called the 75 Square as it was created in 1975. As the Yeongdo locals’ place to relax, you can enjoy magnificent views of the clear Southern sea at a glance on the octagonal pavilion in the center.
The Sky Observatory is an ‘L’ shaped building on the coastal slope. Its transparent floor gives the feeling of seeing the sea from the sky. The ‘padlocks of love’ attached by couples gives a romantic ambience. There are other observatories with different themes, such as the Treasure Hunt Observatory and the Tsushima Island Observatory which are also aesthetically very pleasing.
For those who would like to enjoy the trail with a closer view of the sea, should choose the Jeolyoung Marina Trail, while those who would like to enjoy a view of the open sea at a distance, should choose to walk on the Haerang way.
